Enhanced Charting with Auto Backfill Capabilities
Built-in charting functionality of the commodity trading software allows a robust view of market activity and enables you to choose from ten different chart styles, dozens of indicators, permits creation of an unlimited number of alerts so that you can maximize analysis, and allows you to trade and monitor your order flow directly from your chart.

Block Allocation Accounts
With Helmstation, managers are free to focus on trading, not reconciling out-trades. Commodity Trading Advisors (CTAs) and professional trade managers can create block allocation accounts directly from their existing list of accounts. The manager can then trade directly into the block account and these trades are automatically allocated to the correct accounts via pre-defined rules created by the manager.

Direct Market Access (DMA)
Helmstation provides true direct market access to all our offered exchanges, which include the CME, CBOT, EUREX, NYBOT, NYMEX, KCBT, MGEX, ICE, Euronext.liffe London, and Euronext.liffe Paris.

Auto Execution
Route trade signals from TradeStation® through Randolph Read Helmstation's fully integrated auto execution module, AutoX. Through Tradestation®, over 450 functions that reflect all objects, properties and methods of Randolph Read Helmstation are provided, allowing access to Randolph Read Helmstation’s average positions, account balances, and real orders.

Execute Advanced Orders
The Randolph Read Helmstation provides a full suite of advanced orders that can be used to execute and preserve your trading strategy, including scale in / scale out, parking orders, uploading basket orders, streaming quotes for commodity futures, and an enhanced pricing engine.

Microsoft® Excel Dynamic Digital Exchange
Randolph Read Helmstation can be linked to from a value or data point in Microsoft® Excel and when the value or data point changes, the spreadsheet is automatically updated.

Instant Messaging
Communicate with your broker via Instant Messenger with Helmstation’s built in IM function. This function allows traders to communicate instantly with our commodities brokers if they have questions regarding and allows for real time research feeds and the ability to set up your application for audio and visual alerts.

Access to Pit and Electronic Markets
We also provide access to most of the major traditional commodity markets, in addition to major electronic markets access, allowing you to trade the traditional open-outcry futures markets and we manage this complex routing in order to supply you with the best executions. Most pit orders are routed directly to the handheld devices and touch screens that the floor brokers use in the trading pits, ensuring the most timely order execution.  We can also route orders by trader, by commodity or by both to a specific broker for our institutional clients who require it.

All Orders Held Server Side
All trading critical data resides securely on our servers rather than on your home or office computer so you are protected from down Internet connections and relieved of storage requirements on your own machine. Should you lose your Internet connection; any working orders will continue to work on the server.

View Volume Histograms
The Randolph Read Helmstation provides a volume histogram on the Depth of Market and Charts, providing graphical assistance in determining price levels of support and resistance.

COM Interface
